Instructions to set your new wallpaper

For Windows users

  • Right-click on the above picture
  • From the pop-up menu, choose to "Set as Wallpaper" or "Save as Background"

MAC OSX users

  • Right-click on the above image (or ctrl-click for one-button mouse)
  • Select "Save image as..." from the drop-down menu
  • Select a folder of your choice to store the picture (be sure to remember where you saved the file)
  • Select your System Preference icon from the dock
  • Select the "Desktop & Screen Saver" icon
  • Select the "Desktop" tab
  • Select "Choose folder..." from the menu
  • Select the folder containing the picture
  • Click on the thumbnail of your wallpaper

MAC OS 9 Users

  • Click on the above image and scroll down to "Save This Image As" in the menu (be sure to remember where you saved the file).
  • Go to your Apple menu in the upper left corner, scroll down to "Control Panels", and choose "Appearance". Click on the "Desktop" tab
  • Click the "Place Picture..." button on the lower right, select the location where you saved your desktop image, and press "Choose"
  • Press the "Set Desktop" button in the Appearance menu

User of MAC OS8 and earlier

  • Click and hold the mouse button on the above image
  • Save the image to your Sample Desktop Pictures folder (located in the Apple Extras folder)
  • Use the Desktop Picture Control Panel (located in the Apple Control Panel folder) to select and activate the wallpaper image that you just downloaded
  • Click the "Picture" button and then click the "Add Picture/Remove Picture" button to make a selection (pick the image you just downloaded.)
  • Click the "Set Desktop" button
